Editing Exercise

I collected a range of chips from other youtube videos, as well as the music videos that we analysed to produce a visual storyboard of some of the shots we would use in our music video.

Editing; Progress

From the clips that we have took so far, I have edited together to produce the start of the music video. From this I need to work on cutting the clips to the beat of the song and then adding the New York shots in as well for when the chorus comes in.

Today, Hannah and I decided to film Aidan in town walking around with a range of different shots such as tracking and panning. We also filmed a time lapse on Northumberland Street of the busy crowds. Parts were also filmed in St James park during the Newcastle match.

Filming; Day 2

Today, we decided to film the sunrise for a time lapse. We set the camera up on the High Level Bridge, on the Newcastle side that allowed us to see the bridges and the sage as the sun rose. Also, we managed to film a time lapse of the cars on the Tyne Bridge and the busy streets on Grainger Street that can be used at the start of the video before any of the lyrics are spoken.

Filming; Day 1

Hannah and I started the day off filming Aidan walking through alley ways and tunnels in Bill Quay. We then moved to the Sage, Gateshead to film Aidan looking over the city and then tracking shots of him walking around. Today we tried some lip singing to fit within the video. Filming locations also included Baltic, Newcastle/Gateshead Quayside and Ouseburn.
