From the research I carried out from my style model, I used the same features as what my style model did. By positioning a picture in the centre of the page with a white border makes it stand out from the background as it is darker. I also used a bold title for my magazine and stuck with a monochrome text colour. The subtitles are positioned around the image but don't cover it too much as the main focus is directed at the main image. The barcode and issue number is kept in the bottom left hand corner which is influenced from my style model.

Final Plan of Contents Page
I based the contents page on the style model, which contained small images on the left hand side of the page that shows images of the people featured in the magazine. The text is kept within three columns and starts with the subtitles found on the front page. It contains a list of headlines which I based my magazine on. I also used the same style font, size and boldness as my style model.

Final Flat Plan of Double Page
As I changed my style model, I changed the positioning and style of the pages. I based the first double page on the "Friends Like These" article which showed a main image covered by the title of the article. The image was a long show which I took into consideration as it shows the environment.
I also based the double page which had the article on like the article from "Friends Like these" and the composition of the photos which contains different shaped images but went for the polaroid look for the images like the "Summer Camp" article.

Afterlight: Editing Photos
For my magazine, I wanted to create a polaroid look for my photos. I tried many different filters on photoshop but then resulted to the app Afterlight.
I started by choosing one of my pictures.
I then changed to brightness to 100.
Then I edited the contrast to -30.
Afterwards, I changed the exposure to 8 so that it brightens the image up.
Next I added the grain to make the image look a little unclear, so I changed the grain to 20.
Then I moved onto adding filters to the image, so first I added ember and changed it to 40.
Then I added chestnut to 63.
Next I added Lume at 20.
Finally I added a old affect so chose 02 at 46.
The final image then turned out to look like this.

Photographs I did not use on my contents page and double pages
For my contents page and double page I narrowed down the images that I took and used the ones that were best fitted for my magazine.
On this image everything is in focus but her eyes are closed which doesn't create the effect that I was after. This picture shows the male model mid talking which could be used as a candid picture but it did not fit with the style of my magazine.
There is a shadow created behind the model and the natural light creates darker and lighter spots on the wall. Like the image above, he is seen again in mid conversation.
This photograph shows the movement of the two models which is why it is unclear and there is too much of the wall rather than the models.
This photograph captures the wind on their face due to the weather conditions being bad and the camera is slightly blurry due to it being moved.
This image creates shadows behind the person which are harder to cut around when placing upon a different background.
Eyes are closed and shadow created behind him.
Light is too bright and reflects off the models forehead.
