Magazine Pitch

In conclusion of the research i have carried out, i am going to compose a magazine in relation to NME as it attracts and appeals to those with an interest in alternative music. My front cover shall include a modern artist or band such as imagine dragons or one republic as it appeals to the age range in which i am addressing. As there are not many music magazine that only appeal to females i am going to create a magazine based upon features in NME but with more feminine comparisons. My primary target audience shall be females aged 15 to 18 which has been concluded from the questionnaires that i carried out. My secondary audience shall be the female population in general as there are is a wide age range of people who are interested in different music genres. The occupation of the readers will most likely be students, so including content such as the latest fashion trends, upcoming gigs, the latest charts and new technology, this will attract them into buying the magazine. Music artists that are in the alternative chart shall be included due to the reader enjoying that style of music. Quirky and unique fashion items shall be included and events in the area shall be listed.
